Connecting with Your Guardian
Link your doctor's office to Mediphant so you can share records, message your care team, and get more informed care.

In Mediphant, a Guardian is a healthcare professional - a doctor, nurse practitioner, or clinic - with a verified presence on Mediphant. Connecting with your Guardian lets them see the health story you've built, send you documents securely, and provide more informed care.
Three ways to connect
Open the account menu (your avatar, top right) and choose Manage Circles, then tap Share with Guardian. The Add a Mediphant Guardian sheet gives you three tabs:
Search by handle
Enter the @handle shared by your clinic, doctor, or care provider.
Scan QR code
Point your camera at a Mediphant Guardian QR code - often on a poster or card at the front desk.
Invite a doctor
Doctor not on Mediphant yet? Enter their contact info and we'll reach out to enroll them.
Connecting, step by step

Find your Guardian
In the Search by handle tab, type the @handle your clinic gave you. Their profile appears with their photo, address, and a Verified Guardian badge - so you know you've found the right practice.

Review what they'll see
Before you connect, the profile spells out exactly what access means under “What this means” - what your Guardian will and won't be able to see. Read it; you're always in control.

Request the connection
Tap Request connection. Your request shows as Request pending until the clinic accepts. If your clinic invited you first, you'll see Accept invitation instead - one tap and you're connected.

Start collaborating
Once connected, their profile shows Message Guardian and, for many clinics, Book Appointment. Your Guardian also appears on your Circles page under Guardians (Healthcare Professionals).
What your Guardian can - and can't - see
They can see
Your Vault, Dashboard, Timeline, and the insights generated from your health data. They can also securely send you medical documents, lab tests, and more.
They can't see
Your Calendar, Feed, Circle, or your chats with Elly. Those stay between you and the people you choose.
