How to Upload a Document

Everything you add to Mediphant lives in your Vault - one organized, private home for your health records. Once a document is uploaded, Elly reads it, pulls out what matters, and adds it to your timeline. Uploading takes less than a minute.

What you can upload

Almost anything from your healthcare life belongs in the Vault. Mediphant accepts PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, photos (including iPhone HEIC photos), videos, and audio files - up to 100 MB per file and 10 files per upload.

Uploading a document, step by step

   Open your Vault

   From the app, go to Your Vault - this is where all your files live, with Files and Integrations tabs at the top.

   Tap Add

   Tap the Add button in the navigation bar (or the Add New button above your file list). You can also start from Home: tap Add to open the quick actions sheet and look under Add to Vault.

   Choose how to add your file

   The Add Files sheet gives you options: record a voice note, add a document / image set, text entry, add photos, upload files, or add videos. To upload an existing file from your device, choose Upload files. To photograph a paper document, choose Add photos and use your device's camera from the photo picker.

   Review before uploading

   On the Review Files screen you'll see everything queued up. Rename any file with the pencil icon, remove one with the trash icon, or tap Add more to keep going. When you're happy, tap Upload.

   Let Elly do the reading

   After the upload finishes you'll see “We're on it!” - your files are being processed. Elly will read your files and notify you if there's anything she found worth mentioning. This usually takes a few minutes.

After the upload

Open any file in your Vault to see two tabs: Preview, which shows the original document, and View Text, which shows the text Elly extracted. Key findings from your documents also appear on your timeline, so the story of your health builds itself as you upload.
